The annual Rainbow Rage event is a 106 KM mountain bike adventure ride that starts outside of St Arnaud, goes through some of the South Island’s awesome sub alpine high country, and finishes in the Hanmer domain. First held in 1996 with 66 starters, because of its unique course and great spirit the ride has continued to grow: 1997 - 88, 1998 - 224, 1999 - 1009, 2000 - 1295. In 2001 a new record of 1604 entries was received. We welcome you to meet the challenge and experience the reward of this outstanding New Zealand mountainbike adventure on 20 March 2010.
